Rhonda Wozniak with Mrs. Fred Rogers
Robert Berks, Tribute to Children Memorial (2008)
This bronze sculpture of Fred Rogers was treated to reduce a heavy build-up of brown wax and oxidation. Surfaces were also rewaxed and buffed. This sculpture is inspected and maintained by RWOC.

Gary Hume, Snowman (c. 2004)
This painted bronze sculpture was treated in collaboration with local arts industries. Old paint was removed; surfaces prepared and repainted with artist approved coatings, and the sculpture was reinstalled on a newly designed mount.

Dale Chihuly, Goldenrod, Teal, and Citron Chandelier  (2007)
This blown glass chandelier hanging from the glass domed Welcome Center at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens was treated in collaboration with Erin O'Neil, Phipps Chihuly specialist. The condition and attachment of each individual piece was inspected, and surfaces were cleaned to remove years of accumulated dust, dirt, grime and bird guano.

This low-fired terracotta urn was reconstructed. Small losses and breaklines were reintegrated.

This marble bust was cleaned in preparation for This is Not Ideal, Gender myths and their transformations, an exhibit at the University Art Gallery/University of Pittsburgh.

Andy Warhol, Folding Screen- Shoes (c. 1950)@AWF
This painted and gilded Folding Screen was treated at The Andy Warhol Museum to clean and address structural damages.

Old restorations were reduced; lifting gilt and painted surfaces were stabilized; losses were filled, gilded, and/or painted; wings were reattached; select missing elements were recreated.

Dr. Mao Yisheng (2006)
This outdoor bronze sculpture and plaque at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh was treated to reduce corrosion products and other environmental deposits. After cleaning, a protective coating of wax was applied.

Virgil Cantini, Wall Sculpture (mid-late 20th C.)
To improve the stability and appearance of this sculpture, corrosion was reduced; metal was passivated; compromised joints were stabilized; and the iron was recoated.

Phillip Picard, Christ the Healer (1977)
This thirty foot long sculpture at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh consists of fourteen COR-TEN steel niches displaying biblical scenes that are cast in polyester resin to resemble marble. The niches were treated to remove surface deposits and reduce corrosion. Each figurative group was cleaned, and missing elements were recreated.

Fire Bucket (possibly late 1800s)
Old varnish was reduced on this leather fire bucket to reveal gilding and a painted scene.

Glass Time Capsule (1852)
Recovered in 1996 from the cornerstone of the Sewickley United Methodist Church. The time capsule was broken into approximately 57 fragments. Reconstruction included fabricating a total of 15 missing pieces.

Grueby Tile Fireplace   (1912)
Atrium of Erie Insurance Heritage Center
After being concealed behind walls for 55 years, the glazed faience tiles and engobe terracotta tiles were treated to remove deposits as part of an historic restoration of this fireplace and building.
